        Position Type: Full-time, salaried
        Position Salary: $42,000-46,000

        Overview

        PoliChic Engagement Fund (PCEF), a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization working to engage Texas women in elections and issue advocacy, is looking for an experienced and values-driven individual to join our team as the Development Coordinator. The Development Coordinator is responsible for helping PCEF meet its fundraising goals. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, organized, and passionate about the values, priorities, and goals of the PoliChic Engagement Fund. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Founding Director and Deputy Director to create and execute the Fund’s annual fundraising plan.

        Key Responsibilities

        • Partner with the Founding Director and Deputy Director to create annual event strategy, including but not limited to the Bravery Brunch, that support donor cultivation and stewardship
        • Build and execute event timelines, including delegation to other staff and volunteers, to ensure all deliverables are met in a timely manner
        • Work with the Founding Director to compile event invitation lists and maintain RSVP lists
        • Create invitations and other event communication materials in coordination with the Communication staff and/or external consultant to promote fundraising events
        • Manage online donations platform(s)
        • Coordinate with program staff to proactively maintain a donor engagement and event sponsorship calendar, including volunteer opportunities
        • Collaborate with program staff to identify and secure support for in-kind needs, including lodging and swag
        • Assist with prospect research for corporate and major donors to build the donor pipeline
        • Partner with the Founding Director in creating corporate sponsorship proposals with opportunities to support program area initiatives
        • Support donor cultivation and stewardship, as appropriate, including but not limited to assisting with annual campaign mailings and follow-up
        • Perform other related duties as needed

        Qualifications & Requirements

        • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
        • 1-2 years of experience in and knowledge of the development process, fundraising, communications, event management, or equivalent field.
        • Prior experience and connections with civic engagement funders strongly preferred
        • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and tracks of work while balancing results, process, and relationships
        • Professionalism and flexibility amid competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-need, and results-driven environment
        • Proven ability to manage calendars and handle scheduling instructions and responsibilities
        • Ability to work with team members in-person and remotely, as well as to work independently and as part of a team
        • Demonstrated personal initiative and entrepreneurial attitude
        • Strong verbal and written communication ability, attention to detail
        • Experience with Zoom, Google Workspace, Mailchimp, and Flipcause
        • Ability and interest in limited travel
